This PACFA endorsed program aims to develop and enhance supervisory skills within a Person Centred, Reflective framework. Using a person centred and creative approach, this program supports supervisors to develop and enhance skills that will equip them to supervise practitioners across a range of different modalities and presenting issues. The program is strongly influenced by the latest research in neuroscience and underpinned by person centred principles and a compassionate approach.

Supervisor Training consists of 6 days over 3 months with an assessment session on completion. Existing Supervisors can select any of the single day programs for CPD.

Day 2:   30th January 2021: Models and Approaches

Day 3:   26th February 2021: Supervisory Relationship

Day 4:   27th February 2021: Compassion and Self Compassion in Supervision

Day 5:   26th March 2021: Group and Team Supervision

Day 6:   27th March 2021: Creative Supervision

Cheryl Taylor and Jo Ablett have a solid foundation of Supervisory Training and experience gained over more than a decade of practice as Supervisors. For five years Cheryl and Jo have provided professional development for Supervisors. Cheryl is currently employed as a lecturer and supervisor at Cairnmillar and Jo is a Senior Trainer for Expressive Therapies Institute of Australia. Both are registered Supervisors with ACA, AAOS, ACSA and PACFA.
Cheryl and Jo are committed to supporting other practitioners in their professional journeys and to provide a safe space for those in supervisory roles, to reflect on and deepen their work.
