Pat Bradley (Convenor) (M.Sc. Counselling, Dip Supervision, Dip Primary Care Counselling), is a counselling practitioner (clinical), accredited supervisor and Mental Health Practitioner in private practice in West Beach, Adelaide, SA. She qualified in the UK in 2000 and was in both private practice and employed by the National Health Service in the UK before emigrating to Australia in 2013.

Pat has been heavily involved in and committed to the profession of counselling and previously served as both Secretary and President of the Counselling Association of South Australia before becoming a member of the PACFA Board in 2017. She is deeply passionate about progressing our profession and strengthening our collective voice both nationally and locally.

Patrick Moloney (Deputy Convenor) has a Masters in Counselling from the University of South Australia. He is also trained in mediation and hypnosis. His clients tend to be couples with relationship difficulties and individuals with personal issues including stress and anxiety.  His business degree is useful in assisting many of his clients who run their own businesses. Mindfulness, meditation and hypnosis are employed by Patrick on a regular basis though his practice is person centred and emotionally focused.


Alison Kirk is a counsellor, teacher and educator based in Adelaide. Following a nursing pathway and many years working in the health and accounting related industries Alison gained her tertiary qualifications and training in counselling.  Alison is a Carers SA Counsellor and has a developing private practice in the Adelaide Hills. She also does voluntary bereavement counsellor for Central Adelaide Palliative Care Services. Teaching and tutoring roles include Flinders University, Australian College of Applied Psychology and Navitas Professional.  Alison presents workshops for private organisations relating to counselling and self-care approaches. Alison has a professional and passionate interest for qualified counsellors being recognised and included into working parties within government agencies, health providers and the general community.

Bev Pope, BCouns; PostGradCertMediation; BSocSci(HumServ) has held senior positions in community and children’s services when she opened her person centred, inclusive, private counselling practice. She trained in couple counselling, mediation, hypnosis, mindfulness, anxiety, bereavement, parenting support, and child development. Her previous experience as a management consultant, coach, mentor, tertiary and business trainer, assists her to also provide work/life balance counselling. Bev’s clients include individuals, couples, parents, families, youths and seniors. She is a strong advocate for the benefits of counselling and for the rights of children.

 

Tracy Dickens has a solid background in Nursing, Human Resources Management and Hypnosis. She attended Adelaide Uni to acquire her MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy and is developing her private practice underpinned by her strengths which include being a bright, focused, strategic and lateral thinker and planner. She has extensive experience with business development and workplace counselling. Tracy has joined the PACFA SA team to support the growth and promotion of professional development for the counselling community and enhancing the perception of counselling and psychotherapy throughout the public domain. Tracy also assists to maintain the PACFA SA Facebook site and also holds a Grad Dip Counselling & Psychotherapy, Bachelor of Nursing, Adv Dip in Bus Mgmt., Adv Dip in Human Resources, Dip of Hypnosis in Psychotherapy, Ass Dip in Soc Sc (Child Care) & Cert NLP Practitioner. In her spare time, Tracy arranges costumes, photographs, films and music videos for her husband’s steampunk themed band.
