Participate now in the Australian Counselling and Psychotherapy Workforce Survey

The deadline to participate in the 2020 Australian Counselling and Psychotherapy Workforce Survey has been extended to Sunday 15 November.

PACFA members now have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the national evidence base for the Counselling and Psychotherapy profession by participating in our national Workforce Survey any time before November 15.

The research will provide PACFA with vital information to support our advocacy work and strengthen the evidence base for the credentials, legitimacy and practice characteristics of Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Australia, in addition to identifying the needs and views of members to help guide our planning for the future. Research results will be published in the Psychotherapy and Counselling Journal of Australia.

The survey consists of 40 multiple choice and open-ended questions about your qualifications, experience, employment status and aspects of your practice. It does not ask for specific details about your practice with clients or collect personally identifying information and you can complete the survey online at any time.

As a thank you for participating, PACFA members can also enter the draw to win $250 in PACFA professional development

The survey is open to all Counselling and Psychotherapy professionals so please feel free to share the opportunity to participate with your colleagues and professional networks.
