Since 1966, the IAC have worked to advance the development of counselling through practice, education, research, and advocacy initiatives. IAC advances the development of counselling in order to improve people’s lives and well-being.

PACFA members are invited to participate in the IAC Transcultural Counselling Course. Here is some information about the course:

This course is designed for counsellors, counsellor educators, and students who wish to expand their practice and customize their approach, internationally or when serving their diverse client base locally.

Increasing our cross-cultural responsiveness, and improving self-awareness of cultural values and biases, has never been more relevant than it is today. Over the past year, the IAC explored these issues with world-renowned counselling experts. Their knowledge and expertise is shared in this 20-hour, self-paced and on-line course The up-to-date course modules contain theoretical and practical components and a certificate of completion is issued after each participant’s knowledge is assessed.
