PACFA is pleased to announce that Dr Gávi Ansara (PhD Psychol, MCouns) will take on the role of Acting Editor of PACFA’s international peer-reviewed journal, PACJA for the November edition whilst recruitment for the Editor position is underway.
Gávi (he/him) is a polycultural psychotherapist, researcher, clinical supervisor, educator, and policy advisor living and working on the sovereign lands of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nations. He brings over a decade of experience in the editorial management of peer-reviewed academic journals, the development of inclusive and anti-oppressive publication policies, and the advancement of publication ethics standards that promote societal accountability and equity.
Gávi is the convenor of the Diversity in Gender, Body, Kinship, & Sexuality Leadership Group as well as being an active PACFA member.
The next edition of PACJA will be published online in November 2021.
