Make a difference! Lead counselling and psychotherapy nationally – new roles with PACFA 

PACFA is pleased to announce two exciting opportunities for counsellors and/or psychotherapists to join the PACFA team.

The first role is a Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and experienced counsellor or psychotherapist to work with PACFA to lead the profession at a key moment of development. Counselling and psychotherapy play an essential role in the mental health workforce, and this position will support PACFA’s provision of accreditation, ethical guidance and the registration of members by working with committees, developing resources and advising the CEO.

The second is the PACJA Editor. PACJA is the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia’s peer-reviewed research journal housed at www.pacja.org.au. It is produced twice a year online and advances the mission of PACFA by contributing to the evidence-base for counselling and psychotherapy. This is an exciting opportunity for a counsellor or psychotherapist passionate about research and supporting the workforce to oversee production of PACJA with support from the PACFA office.
