The role of the PACFA Professional Standards Committee is to ensure the consistency and currency of the PACFA Training Standards, Supervision Training Standards (STS) and the PACFA Register requirements and to write or review any guidelines for use by PACFA members. The committee also assesses Register Appeals and provides expert advice on professional matters such as applications to join PACFA via the equivalent training pathway.
PACFA is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Clinical Members to join the Committee. We are looking for members with extensive experience in the practice of counselling and psychotherapy. Applicants will also need to have academic experience in counselling and /or psychotherapy with the ability to review policies and procedures and to ensure that these evolve to meet changing demands.
