New PACFA/Relationships NSW partnership

PACFA has signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Relationships Australia NSW that aims to open up work opportunities exclusively for our members.

PACFA and Relationships Australia NSW will collaborate on an initial trial project, Project Radiant, which will involve selected PACFA’s NSW clinical members.

Members selected by Relationships Australia NSW will provide employee assistance program (EAP) counselling for the organisation's 130 EAP customers.

Relationships Australia NSW is seeking 'innovative and progressive practitioners' with availability to provide the estimated 1000 employee assistance sessions required in the 2021-22 financial year.

While the project will initially be run as a trial, PACFA and Relationships Australia NSW have agreed to work together to achieve ongoing work for PACFA members and an external workforce for Relationships Australia NSW.

As this is a new process, Relationships Australia NSW is seeking practitioners who are flexible, understanding and willing to provide feedback. They are also seeking practitioners who are open to being contracted to Relationships Australia NSW and invoicing for services provided.

PACFA will invite NSW clinical members to attend an information webinar on 7 September where Relationships Australia NSW CEO Elisabeth Shaw and her team will give details about the opportunity, application requirements and how to express your interest.

Relationships Australia NSW will then conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates in late September and advise successful candidates of the outcome.
