New digital member badges for practising members

PACFA’s practising members will soon have access to exclusive digital badges that clearly state their professional title.

PACFA holds registered trademarks for the Registered Clinical Counsellor, Certified Practising Counsellor and Registered Clinical Psychotherapist membership badges.

We will soon send practising members a digital member badge via email that they will be able to download for use on email signatures, websites and letterhead.

The badges will be based on your College membership, so members should check that your college membership is correct and reflects your experience and training.

Certified Practising Counsellors are provisional members of the College of Counselling and/or the College of Relationship Counsellors.

Registered Clinical Counsellors are clinical members of the College of Counselling and/or the College of Relationship Counsellors.

Registered Clinical Psychotherapists are clinical members of the College of Psychotherapy.

We will work with individual members to ensure they have the correct badge including members of other PACFA colleges. Members who belong to both the College of Counselling and the College of Psychotherapy at clinical level will be able to use both badges.

The badges will include the refreshed PACFA logo, providing our members with a professional new ‘look and feel’ for their communications.

PACFA President Dr Di Stow said: ‘PACFA is excited to bring members digital badges with their professional title and PACFA’s refreshed logo.

‘It’s all part of presenting our members as the highly qualified, highly experienced professionals they are.’
