Join our Research Committee 

Are you looking for a way to contribute to the counselling and psychotherapy profession and enhance your own career as a practitioner or academic? 
 
We are seeking expressions of interest in joining the Research Committee.  

The committee is responsible for:  

  • disseminating information to the profession about evidence informed practices  
  • facilitating and commissioning high quality, original research into the processes and outcomes of counselling and psychotherapy.  

The Research Committee Chair, Dr Alexandra Bloch-Atefi, is a member of the PACFA Board. 

Being a committee member involves regular meetings (usually held monthly online), as well as being contactable via email or phone.

We are also accepting applications for other PACFA committees.  

You are welcome to express interest in joining more than one committee, however can only participate in one. We appoint to the committee that best suits the member’s skills and PACFA’s aims.

If you do not have the time to join a committee, you may be interested in becoming a member of a panel, which committees form to assist in making ethical and accreditation decisions.
