Call for abstracts: Virtual Asia-Pacific Mental Health Symposium “Mental Health: Multicultural Dimensions in Asia and Beyond” 

 The Virtual Asia-Pacific Mental Health Symposium (VAMHS) will be held online on 9 and 10 April 2022, and is calling for abstracts.

Abstracts with the themes of counselling; private practice and business challenges; research; education; addictions; mental health and wellbeing; and social work are welcome. 

The deadline for PACFA members to submit has been extended until 11 February 2022, however submissions are considered as they are received, so VAMHS advises members to submit ASAP. Review the guidelines for more information

The symposium is being hosted by the Indian Academy of Professional Supervisors (IAPS); a professional association founded in Chennai, India. Several other peak professional bodies from around the region will also be partnering with IAPS, including several Australian allied health peak bodies, and the Asia Pacific Rim Confederation of Counsellors. 

The symposium will host speakers from top Australian and Indian universities and institutions, as well as international guest speakers from the US, Europe, China, and the broader Asia-Pacific Region.
