About me

My practice
I am a mature - aged Christian counsellor and have worked in private practice (Operating as CTC Counselling MInistries) for 25 years. I work with clients of all ages : children/teens/ adults and couples ( children's counselling is play therapy based). I am committed to offering caring and compassionate counselling to all. I am a committed Christian and work within a Christian framework, but counselling is available and I welcome all, regardless of religious belief. My work is strongly influences by a psychodynamic approach, but I also have the eclectic ability to recognise and incorporate other modalities should they be of benefit to clients. Normally working from 2 locations (Mernda & Essendon) but because of current Corona Virus Pandemic, counselling is only available via zoom, skype/facetime/phone consult, commencing March 17th 2020, until further notice. (As of July 2021, I am able to see a small number of clients at Mernda face to face, usually Saturdays, as long as not in lockdown. Please contact mobile for further details).
