My practice
Anna is a Psychotherapist and counsellor who works with all people. Anna is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

Having worked in private practice and across non-government and government organsiations in Australia such as headspace. Anna is extremely passionate about helping children and families reach their full potential.

Annas expertise lies in working with children and adolescence who present with diagnoses such Attention Defecit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), highly gifted and sensitive children. Anna is trained in a number of evidence base therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Dialeteical Behaviour Therapy as well as Art Psychotherapy. She works in a strength-based way and draws on a variety of theories such as Attachment and draws on models such as the Circle of Security, to address social, emotional and behavourial issues for children and their families. Anna has an integrative approach to psychotherapy and understands that not everyone is the same. She tailors her sessions to her clients and their families unique needs.

In a session with Anna you may work on emotional regualation strategies, increasing executive functioning, social skills, increasing self-esteem and mindfulness based practices. She keeps abreast to current research and is always developing professionally.
