About me

My practice
I am a relational, and highly attuned therapist/counsellor who works closely with young people, particularly adolescents navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, social difficulties, family stress, and school-based wellbeing concerns.
My practice style appears collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I attempt to balance therapeutic rapport with clear, structured interventions and psychoeducation. I draw on strengths-based, trauma-informed, and CBT-informed approaches, using tools such as emotional regulation strategies, psychoeducation around the brain and nervous system, unhelpful thinking styles, safety planning, boundary setting, and visual supports to help clients build insight and coping capacity.

I prioritise:
Creating psychological safety and trust
Remaining curious and non-judgemental
Helping clients challenge fixed or unhelpful thinking patterns
Supporting emotional regulation before problem-solving
Working systemically with parents, schools, and external professionals to create consistent support plans
Translating complex mental health concepts into practical, accessible strategies for young people and families.
