About me

My practice
I work with people with varying challenges, helping them to understand the situations they are experiencing and how/why they are responding as they are. People who have a story to tell that they can’t quite make sense of.

Perhaps a childhood trauma or a past relationship with an abusive person, perhaps someone you know (close or acquaintance) died, perhaps you are moving through one of life’s transition stages, and you feel like you have no idea how to move through the pain, confusion, limited/unlimited options or what steps to take to make life make more sense. Perhaps you want to have a trusting, calm, safe person to walk beside you in the pain or perhaps you want that person to support you as you rebuild your life and introduce some joy, moving away from the pain, confusion, uncertainty etc.

Perhaps you want a few sessions, perhaps you are looking for support that is more ongoing. The benefit of counselling is that there are no rules, there are no limits to the number of sessions you can have, there is no limit to what we talk through. Counselling sessions are yours, yours to led, yours to get to know you and become the expert of you. Counselling provides that safe, calm, confidential space for you to really get to know yourself and understand your world.

I work with those impacted by;
Anxiety, Stress, Suicide Bereavement, Grief and Loss, healing after an abusive relationship or childhood trauma, those who want a deeper understanding of themselves and many times a combination of multiple challenges. We can work together weekly, fortnightly, monthly or whenever you want.
