About me

My practice
My name is Jennifer. I am an experienced registered counsellor with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and. I am also a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), committed to helping families navigate conflict while prioritizing the best interest of their children.

With over 2 decades years of experience, I have worked with individuals, children, youths, couples and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, both internationally and locally. My background in working with various vulnerable populations, including child protection services has provided me with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in safeguarding these populations. I adopt a trauma-informed approach in my practice, ensuring that I provide a safe and supportive environment for clients who have experienced various challenges in their lives. I am passionate about helping people heal and improve their relationships - whether with themselves, their partners, their families or with anyone else in their life. My love for this work is reflected in my personality and the way I engage with every client I support.

As a relationship counsellor and coach, I have grown to understand that only in finding healing in the relationship with oneself, brings about growth and healing in relationships with others. Being an insightful Counsellor, I believe that the counselling process is not just about empowering clients, but it is also about dignifying the client by acknowledging the challenges they face, identifying the strengths they already possess and celebrating their individuality. Being warm and approachable allows my clients to feel safe in a space where they are empowered to find their own voice and path to the challenges they are facing as I journey alongside them. My training and extensive experience in various issues such as family and relationship dynamics, interpersonal issues, grief and loss, family and domestic violence, various forms of trauma, depression, anxiety, parent-teen conflict and migration enables me to empathize with my clients, making them feel heard and understood

Apart from counselling, I also provide coaching and conduct group work. More information can be found on my website.

Sessions can be held in-person or online. Online sessions are available to clients within Australia and internationally.

After hours and weekends options are available upon further consultation with client. I work out of 2 locations for face-to-face sessions.

I can be contacted via email or phone for further enquiries and online bookings can be made directly on my website.

I look forward to journeying with you.
