About me

My practice
I use various therapeutic techniques to provide trauma-informed AOD counselling and Crisis Intervention.

I have client-centred practice. I seek to help my clients build resilience and resource them with mindfulness techniques. I work with my clients' emotions by using techniques from emotion-focused therapy to help them understand the functions of their emotions, triggers, and the contribution of their trauma to their addiction.

Mission Australia is a non-profit organisation. The Drugs and Alcohol Youth Outreach Service team I work with provides free counselling (6-12 sessions) and case management service to young people aged 10-25, who are experiencing mild to moderate drug and alcohol addiction.

This is a voluntary program, we prioritise self-referral.
