My practice
Ella is a counsellor & psychotherapist specialising in sex and relationships, with post-grad Masters Degree in Clinical Sexology and Grad Cert in Emotion Focused Therapy qualifying her for this work. She is a fully Accredited EMDR Practitioner & Consultant, and is passionate about supporting individuals to heal from the past using Attachment and Internal Family Systems Informed EMDR. Ella has 10 years full time experience a a counsellor, working for 3 years at Relationships Australia, 2 years as the Manager of the Cairns Sexual Assault Service and has been in Private Practice for over 4 years. Prior to these roles Ella worked in an addiction rehab service and a mental health recovery service. Ella received her first Counselling Diploma 23 years ago!
