About me

My practice
Practicing through a trauma-informed lens, my counselling skills implement psychodynamic principles scaffolded by interpersonal process, incorporating neurobiological perspectives, whilst utilizing creativity and age-appropriate, procedural cognitive behavioural therapy. My insight as a counsellor into
concerns is underpinned by awareness of these practice processes combined with experiences through a personal background of nursing, midwifery and the practical skills related to large family life. Underscoring my practice is a health and wellbeing focus, with special interests including concerns relating to attachment, developmental and transition difficulties, personal and family issues.
