About me

My practice
Welcome to Safelotus Counselling & Coaching (SLCC)

I'm Neeteesha, the principal counsellor at SLCC. My priority is to provide a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

The lotus flower, symbolizing resilience and transformation, reflects the journey of growth and healing. Just as it rises from the mud, we too can navigate life’s challenges and flourish with the right support.

With extensive experience in trauma, grief & loss, addiction, and complex mental health, I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+, CALD, and neurodivergent communities. I integrate evidence-based, person-centred, and trauma-informed approaches with mindfulness, meditation, and somatic techniques—skills I have practiced for over 40 years and taught for 15.

As a PACFA-accredited clinical counsellor and ICF-registered coach, I uphold the highest ethical and professional standards. My work in the Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) sector involves trauma-informed counselling and assessments for community agencies.

Clients often report gaining clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience—overcoming anxiety, depression, addiction, self-sabotage, and unhealthy patterns. My approach fosters self-awareness, improved relationships, and meaningful life changes through goal setting, boundary-setting, and mindset shifts.

If you're seeking specialised therapies like EMDR, mindfulness-based interventions, or workplace coaching, I’d love to support your journey.
