My practice
Maybe you’re a couple adjusting to parenthood or experiencing pressures and not feeling as close as you’d like. Maybe you’re feeling disconnected or uncertain about the future of your relationship. Perhaps your relationship has been under pressure for a long time and you're feeling lonely, angry, or confused.

Wherever you’re at, you want things to be different; for all sorts of reasons things need to be better, but you’re not sure how to get there.

Anne’s private practice Well Of Life Counselling has an emphasis on supporting relationships. Anne is passionate about supporting couples in their relationship journey. Her hope is that the support she provides enables couples to become more relationally courageous, caring and connected.

Anne offers warm, compassionate, non-judgmental support to couples dealing with relationship challenges. She uses Gottman couple therapy and includes principles from other modalities as appropriate.

Anne has worked for over 3 decades in the health industry. Initially training as a Registered Nurse she returned to study, completing a Master of Counselling at Monash University. Since then, she has completed Gottman Levels 1, 2 & 3, Affairs and Trauma training, Couples therapy and Addictions, Bringing Baby Home workshop facilitation.
Anne is a CERTIFIED GOTTMAN THERAPIST and presented at the 2024 national retreat for Certified Gottman Therapists in Australasia.

Anne has worked for corporate and not-for-profit organisations, where supporting relationships has been a strong focus. Until the end of 2021 she was employed at RelateWell Family Relationships Institute where she worked closely with new parents and young families. In addition to individual and couple counselling, her role at RelateWell included presenting mental health and wellbeing sessions to new parent groups.

Anne knows the challenge and pain of being in a difficult place in relationship and offers insights and strengths gained through personal experience as well as through formal learning. She is also the proud mother of three adult children.

For couples where there’s ambivalence about the relationship, Anne offers Discernment Counselling. This process aims to provide clarity and confidence in moving forward.
