My practice
At Wood for the Trees Counselling, Lisa operates using a person-centred, solution-focussed approach.
With a sound knowledge of issues surrounding substance use, Lisa provides a safe, non-judgemental space for discussion. Any lapses are examined in a gentle manner, for the best understanding for you, the client.
Lisa has extensive lived experience as a step/co/parent, and brings these skills to sessions around the myriad of hurdles that can present for modern families, however that looks for each individual family unit.
As an acknowledgement of the constant demands facing us, all appointments are by telehealth - by video call. This removes one more place to have to run around to; if moving around is limited (either by court order or physical limitations such as lack of transport etc), sessions can still be accomplished.
