About me

My practice
Nepean Counselling Services is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families to work through personal difficulties and create meaningful, lasting change. Our focus is on helping clients improve their wellbeing, relationships, and overall quality of life.

The principal clinical counsellor, Charlotte, works collaboratively with clients to support healing, insight, and growth. She provides a grounded, compassionate, and structured approach, helping clients develop practical strategies to address their concerns whilst exploring deeper patterns that may be impacting their lives. Charlotte creates a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where even challenging issues can be explored constructively and respectfully.

Charlotte is outcome-focused and committed to helping clients achieve sustainable change. She recognises that each client is unique and she tailors every session to the individual’s goals, needs, and circumstances. Her work is client-centred and integrative, drawing on a range of contemporary evidence-based modalities including Somatic therapy, Polyvagal theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method.

Charlotte believes counselling can be a meaningful and empowering experience, and she is passionate about supporting clients to develop greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing.
