About me

My practice
For over seventeen years, Simon has been counselling people experiencing a variety of life and mental health challenges in his clinical practice. Every client is regarded by him as unique and is listened to with the greatest care. Simon believes that people are the experts in their own lives but, when they find themselves battered and bruised by life, sometimes it can be hard to see the solutions. The therapeutic relationship developed between Simon and his clients is the catalyst for new hope, growth and change.

Forensically trained, Simon has extensive experience assessing and treating offenders, both adolescent and adult, with multiple and complex needs. Simon utilizes a strength-based approach to engaging and helping people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, both in the clinic and in institutional settings. Every person is treated with dignity and is supported to live their best life.

With a keen interest in fitness and wellness, Simon loves seeing his clients achieve their health goals. In providing clinical supervision, Simon helps practitioners reflect on their goals and challenges. With a rich supervisory history to draw on, supervisee’s can be confident that their growth as a professional is in good hands.
