About me

My practice
I have a wealth of community experience and a genuine passion for supporting others. I hold a Bachelor of Community Welfare and Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health, and a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy. My work is grounded in both strong academic training and extensive real-world experience.
With over 14 years working in the local community—particularly in crisis support—I have developed a remarkable ability to connect with people across all ages and stages of life. My approach is deeply client-led, guided by the belief that each person already holds the answers within themselves; sometimes they simply need the right space and support to uncover them.
I work with individuals from school age through to older adulthood, bringing both my crisis intervention expertise and natural capacity to see beyond immediate struggles to each person’s inherent strength and potential. I hold a core belief that underpins my practice: we are not defined by what we have endured—we are so much more.
Clients have described me as refreshingly direct, warm, and genuinely non-judgmental, with a natural sense of humour that helps create a safe and comfortable therapeutic space. I have a unique ability to balance honesty with empathy, allowing meaningful change and healing to emerge.
Outside work, I value balance and wellbeing in my own life. You’ll find me out running or in the kitchen baking—embracing the same principles of balance I encourages in others.
