* Certified Practicing PACFA members have studied at AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above, with a minimum of 400 hours instruction in counselling or psychotherapy subjects, plus have a minimum of 40 hours client contact, and 10 hours of supervision.

Clinical PACFA members have met the education standards above and have accrued a minimum of 750 client contact hours, including 75 hours of supervision.

About me

My practice
I am George (they/them) a Gestalt Therapist offering somatic, relational, process oriented psychotherapy to individuals, couples and relationships.

I warmly welcome adult individuals and couples from all backgrounds; whether you are straight, queer, LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, neurodivergent; as well as other therapists, social workers, sex workers and anyone else seeking therapy. I am a queer and sex positive therapist; working with me you will find acceptance and understanding.

My approach is holistic and collaborative, exploring together with curiosity, care and attention to what feels most alive for you. I offer a compassionate and grounded space where you’re welcome just as you are.

In our sessions we move at a pace that feels right for you, using mind and body awareness to explore what is happening for you in the present. Over time this embodiment work supports you to connect with yourself more fully, identify your needs and wants and make the changes you want in your life.

My style is warm and grounded in relational ecology. I believe that through awareness we gain choice and with that the possibility of living fully and authentically.

My couples training includes Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT).

Fees

Individuals: $150 per session (50 minutes), with some concession spots available for GTA students.

Couples: $240 for the required initial (80 minutes) session. Subsequent sessions are $200 (50 minutes) or $240 (80 minutes).

Groups & Relationships (3+): Please get in touch to discuss arrangements.

For all new clients, I offer a free 15 minute scheduled introductory call, an opportunity to get a feel for one another and ask any questions.
