About me

My practice
I am an experienced counsellor who specialises in working with people who have experienced trauma and people who live with disability. I really enjoy the connections and therapeutic relationships that are built once safety and trust has been established. It is rewarding to see the positive effects of counselling on people’s capacity to accept themselves, connect to what is important to them and develop in ways that have meaning for them.
I have been employed over the last 19 years as a counsellor for many different organisations including CatholicCare, Knowmore legal service, Blue Knot Foundation, NSW Rape Crisis Centre, Weave Women and Children's Centre, Fragile X Association and Carers NSW. I have also been a trainer on Trauma Informed Practice for Blue Knot Foundation and a teacher at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
I currently support victim survivors of crime for Victims Support ACT.
