About me

My practice
As a Play Therapist, Pip is dedicated to finding an integrated approach to working with children that suits the strengths and needs of each individual child and family unit. Pip aims to work systemically, seeing a child as part of an ecosystem made up of their family, school, neighbourhood and other services involved in the child’s life. Pip aim’s to work collaboratively with all the significant parts of a child’s system. Pip’s particular areas of interest are Humanistic Play Therapy, Child Centred Play Therapy, Filial Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She completed her Master of Child Play Therapy through Deakin University in 2021. Pip is warm, empathetic, and caring, always seeking to find the strengths in any child and family. She is a registered Play Therapist and Reg. Certified Practicing Counsellor/Psychotherapist and strives to uphold respect, honesty, compassion, cultural sensitivity and ethical practice within all that she does in accordance with the Australasian Pacific Play Therapy Association and PACFA. Pip is the owner and practice lead at Wildflower Play Therapy.
