About me

My practice
I was always a curious child, fascinated by the intricate reasons behind why people behave the way they do in various situations. This inherent curiosity naturally led me to pursue formal studies in Psychology. During my Bachelor’s degree, I took the time to reflect deeply on my own identity, my past experiences and how they shaped my perspective. My passion for understanding others evolved into a strong commitment to the field of counselling where I aimed to create a nurturing and safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings without the constraints of judgment. My own personal journey has profoundly inspired me to help others in a positive way. As a compassionate and dedicated counsellor, I focus on guiding people through the many challenges life presents, empowering them to discover their strengths while embracing their authentic selves. It is truly a privilege and an honor to support others on their path to healing and self-discovery.

I believe in a Person-Centred Therapy, tailoring my therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each individual. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I aim to foster open communication and trust, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. I specialise in supporting clients using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These evidence-based practices empower clients to develop effective coping mechanisms, build resilience and enhance self-awareness. My goal is to provide clients — adolescents and adults alike—with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges confidently.

As a registered counsellor with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), I bring both academic and practical experience to my practice. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Western Sydney University. In my personal life, I prioritise self-care through running, weight training and drawing. Being a bilingual speaker of English and Korean, I am able to connect with a diverse range of clients, enriching the therapeutic experience.
