About me

My practice
Elise has nearly 20 years of experience as a relationship and fertility counsellor / psychotherapist, in both private and public health fertility clinic settings and also within her own private practice. Elise has previously practised at the Lister Fertility Clinic and Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust in London, UK, also Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships as a Relationship and Couple Therapist. In July 2018, Elise joined Queensland Fertility Group as Senior Fertility Counsellor and in May 2019 joined City Fertility Clinic as a Fertility Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

Elise has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Relationship & Couple Therapy and in Psychosexual Therapy from the University of East London & Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships. Elise has also completed a Bachelor of Nursing at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) (1996) and is a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a qualified Fertile Body Method Practitioner and is currently completing training in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing. At all times, she abides by The Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics.

Elise holds full membership of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA), the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors’ Association (ANZICA) and the British Infertility Counsellors' Association [BICA]. She holds Level 4 membership of the Australian Counselling Association and membership of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Elise is also a qualified and ACA registered Clinical Supervisor specialising in providing robust training and support to practitioners working with clients experiencing fertility and relationship related concerns and difficulties.
