About me

My practice
Georgia is currently working full time with Community Restorative Centre within the Youth Pathways Team as a clinical counsellor. This position has a strong drug and alcohol focus. The aim of the Youth Pathways program is to assist young people between 10-25 years old transition back into the community after coming in touch with the criminal justice system. This is an outreach counselling position.
Before this, Georgia spent 2 years working in the NSW public health hospital system. Georgia was a clinical drug and counsellor at Canterbury Hospital Drug Health Clinic for a year between 2023 and 2024. Before this, she also worked as a clinical drug and alcohol counsellor at St. George Hospital Drug Health Clinic between 2022 and 2023.
Georgia has a master’s degree in psychotherapy and counselling, awarded by Western Sydney University. Georgia also has a bachelor’s degree in psychological science and a diploma of counselling.
Georgia has been trained as a trauma informed clinician, with a strong person-centered approach.
