About me

My practice
Sometimes life can feel like a tangled mess. When your head is full of overwhelm, it can be hard to work out your next steps alone. In those moments, what’s often needed isn’t dismissive platitudes or unwanted advice but a warm, impartial and non-judgemental person to sit with you and help carry the load for a while. At Untangled: Counselling and Psychotherapy, I aim to offer a safe and grounded space where individuals can explore and gently tease apart their concerns with care and clarity.

I am a Master’s qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a strong commitment to trauma-informed and family-centred practice. I believe in working with, not on, people, honouring their stories and helping them reconnect with their strengths. My work is grounded in creativity, compassion and the belief that healing happens in inclusive spaces where people feel genuinely seen and understood. In practice, I draw on expressive modalities, systemic perspectives and psychoeducation to support insight, strengthen relationships and foster meaningful change.

I bring both professional and lived experience to my work, including supporting adults, children, adolescents and families navigating life's complexities, and their intersection with deeper issues of identity, grief, spirituality, and relational and trauma. I also have experience across foster care, group facilitation, faith communities and advocacy for neurodivergent young people and mothers who have experienced birth trauma.

I am currently seeing clients on Wednesdays in Port Adelaide and online by arrangement, and welcome enquiries from individuals seeking counselling support.
