About me

My practice
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (2000) and have spent over two decades working in roles that centre on trauma and its profound impact on individuals, families, and relationships. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of how trauma shapes lives—and how healing is possible.

In addition to formal psychological training, I’ve studied yoga and meditation, and I thoughtfully integrate these practices into therapy when it supports the client’s journey—especially for those navigating the lingering effects of trauma. I have a particular interest working with people that identify as Childless not my choice, among other areas as suggested in the profile.

I recently completed my Master’s in Counselling, further refining my skills to offer compassionate, evidence-based support to those I work with.

I genuinely practice what I share. My own daily meditation and regular Yin Yoga practice help keep me grounded and balanced—a vital part of how I show up for others with presence and care.

My therapeutic style is eclectic yet anchored in trauma-informed, evidence-based frameworks. I draw on emotionally focused and compassion-centred approaches, mindfulness-based therapy, somatic and attachment-informed work, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), tailoring each session to meet my clients where they are.
