About me

My practice
Hi there. I have many years of experience working with individuals and groups. I live with both chronic pain & health and understand the strains that these can add to your life. I have a clear and empathetic understanding of my patients/clients' struggles.

I have practised as a Chronic Pain and Rehabilitation Counsellor at a pain clinic for the last 12 years, however, from 2024 I am practising from my private practice only. I help clients to not only understand their condition (which often is complicated by depression, anxiety and stress) but also to develop effective strategies so they can move forward with their lives. I am registered with the State Insurance Regulatory Scheme (SIRA) in NSW and ACT so I can see Third Party and Workers Compensation patients.

As well as being a clinical counsellor, I am also a clinical hypnotherapist, a Brain-based solution-focused coach, an infertility counsellor, and a mindfulness practitioner. These skills enable me to also work with life transitions and challenges, fears and phobias, addictions and habits, infertility and loss, and grief and loss,

I developed and run 'The Complete Power Over Chronic Pain Course' which is a proven, step-by-step guide to mindfully gain power over chronic pain and its companions (fatigue, stress, anxiety and depression) and live the life you want. People with other health conditions also do this course. I teach you the latest neurobiology, mindfulness, self-compassion, mindset, and acceptance and commitment strategies that I use to live the life I want to.

My passion is to help people see where they are at, find who they want to be and where they want to go, discover how to get there and support them along the way. Sometimes the journey is a tough one but knowing someone is in your corner really helps.

If you would like to find out more about me and how I can help you, please visit my website catchthecalm.com.

I see private clients in person or via telehealth. You can make contact with me either by emailing me directly at [email protected] or via phone 02 6174 1551.
