About me

My practice
If you are curious about creative arts therapy and have a desire to gain deeper insight into your inner self by a different way of knowing, you are in the right place. Although I also offer traditional forms of counselling, I understand that they may not always capture the full depth of your experiences. By engaging in art therapy, you can gain new awareness and perspectives that might not be readily accessible through talk therapy alone. It can be a path to greater self-awareness and personal growth, providing a unique avenue for self-expression and exploration, allowing you to tap into your inner wisdom.

Throughout my years of training and practice, I have witnessed the profound impact that art therapy can have on individuals. Through art making and the creative process in a safe and supportive space we can uncover unconscious thoughts, process complex emotions or build more resilience, leading to a greater understanding of yourself and your unique journey.

If you resonate with the idea of using creative expression as a means of self-discovery and healing, please reach out. I am here to support you through anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, trauma, grief and loss on your path to towards a place of personal growth, resilience and emotional well-being. Artistic skills or experience are not required.

Apart from my masters degree in Counselling I also hold a bachelor degree in Art Therapy which I completed in Germany where Art Therapy has been long established. Apart from running my private practice on Bribie Island, I am also currently working part time at A T Psych Health and I have taught as a casual lecturer at the Ikon Institute of Australia in the bachelor of Art Therapy program.

I am a member of the PACFA College of Creative and Experiential Therapies (CCET).
