About me

My practice
Hi, I'm Swathi.
I'm a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and I'm deeply curious about how our nervous systems shape the way we experience life — from the way we respond to stress, to how we form relationships, to what helps us heal. My work is grounded in neuroscience, compassion, and a belief that therapy isn't just about fixing what's wrong — it's also about discovering who you are and how you want to live.

I can support you through a range of experiences including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship challenges, or simply those times when you're feeling stuck and want to reconnect with yourself.
For me, therapy is about creating a space where you feel truly seen and heard. I listen deeply and ask thoughtful questions — not just to understand your struggles, but to explore your strengths, patterns, and potential. I'm here to walk alongside you as you make sense of your story and move toward the kind of life you want to live.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw from several evidence-based modalities including Trauma-Informed Counselling, Grief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Gestalt, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. It gives us room to find what works best for you, and to shape our sessions in a way that feels natural, supportive, and genuinely helpful.

If you’re curious about therapy or feel like it might be time to talk to someone, I’d really love to work with you.
