About me

My practice
I am a trauma-informed counsellor specialising in supporting adults impacted by complex trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic and family violence, institutional harm, and the impacts of trauma on parenting. I support clients with safety and stabilisation, as well as processing and integration work.

My practice is grounded in a relational, compassionate approach that prioritises safety, choice, and collaboration. I work alongside clients at their pace, recognising that trauma is not only what has happened, but also what has happened inside, reflected in how a survivor perceives themselves, the world, and themselves in the world, as well as how these experiences have been carried and made sense of over time.

I draw on an integrative approach that includes Compassionate Inquiry, Internal Family Systems and parts work, as well as somatic and nervous system-informed practices grounded in poly vagal theory. I support clients to build capacity for regulation, deepen self-understanding, and gently process traumatic experiences in ways that feel manageable and respectful of their autonomy.

I have particular experience supporting survivors navigating the impacts of complex trauma on identity, relationships, the nervous system, and parenting, including chronic stress responses such as fight, flight, freeze, appease, and collapse.

I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions and aim to provide a compassionate, attuned therapeutic space where clients can feel met, understood, and supported in their healing.
