My practice
At Simmons Psychotherapy we are the translators, the interpreter and the guides to your own internal world. We do not lean on diagnosis, disability, or circumstance to excuse; rather, we need to understand how we have become the way we are today. We believe that all people want to do good and will do good if they can! Sometimes we need support, guidance or structure to allow us to do good, exciting and fun things. We live by the motto ‘People do well if they can, not if they want’! Simmons Psychotherapy offers an alternative to psychological and medical intervention where we focus on evidence-based integrative therapies that meet the client or young person where they are instead of where they should be.
