About me

My practice
As a psychotherapist and counsellor, I strive to create a space where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. My practice is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I am committed to being a non-judgmental and person-centred presence, meeting clients where they are, and walking alongside them with unwavering compassion and care.
I believe that healing happens in the safety of genuine connection. My role is not to direct or judge but to listen deeply, hold space, and empower clients to discover their own strength, resilience, and potential. I work to understand each person’s experiences within the context of their lives, honoring their history, relationships, and cultural identity.
Grounded in person-centred values, I am guided by the belief that everyone has an innate capacity for growth and healing. I seek to nurture that potential by fostering trust, mutual respect, and collaboration. Whether navigating trauma, relational challenges, or life’s uncertainties, I am here to offer person-centred support that is open-ended, flexible, and responsive to each client’s needs.
For me, psychotherapy & counselling is a privilege. It’s about standing with people in their most vulnerable moments and witnessing their courage to face challenges and create change. Above all, my work is a testament to my belief in the power of human connection and the profound ability of every person to find meaning, hope, and wholeness.
I hold a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Western Sydney University, where I developed expertise in psychotherapy, relational issues, and person-centred mental health care. I also completed a Graduate Certificate in Youth Mental Health at Melbourne University, specializing in behaviour management, child therapy, and youth mental health counselling.
As part of my professional journey, I have worked as a volunteer with Shine for Kids, supporting children facing family incarceration, and as an NDIS Senior Behaviour Clinician, where I provided person-centred behaviour support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater quality of life. Additionally, I participated in the NSW Health Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) program, focusing on adult disability and mental health.
My academic foundation includes a BA Psychology and Bachelor of Human Sciences (Early Childhood and Community Services) from Macquarie University, where I gained a deep understanding of psychological processes, developmental psychology, counselling, and the bio-psycho-social dimensions of health and disability care.
I also completed Education Support training through TAFE NSW, specializing in behaviour management, child therapy, and supporting individuals with specific learning disabilities.
I am continuing my academic journey at Sydney University.
