About me

My practice
I'm a PACFA accredited clinical counsellor and trained cognitive behaviour therapist. My practise is underpinned by the mental health recovery model of care. This approach includes understanding that each person is different and should be supported to make their own choices, be listened to and treated with dignity and respect. Each person is at the fore of their own life, and support should assist them to discover their hopes, goals and aspirations. I use empathy, listening, and reflection skills to approach these areas with a humanistic, person-centred and emotion focused approach to each client, within a safe and comfortable space.
