About me

My practice
Christina Chen is a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor who has worked in managerial and front-line roles and supported individuals and families in a variety of settings (acute, short and long term counselling, pastoral work, community mental health, school counselling, trauma work etc.) for 15 years.

Christina works from a strengths based, human centred, and solution focused approach. She is passionate about supporting people to identify their goals and dreams, and empower them to let go of the things that no longer serve them and to take steps towards their goals.

As a Clinical Supervisor, Christina has provided clinical supervision for mental health clinicians from a number of backgrounds (psychologists, social workers, counsellors, youth and family workers) for the past 10 years. She likes to work collaboratively, focusing on reflection and meaningful discussion to engage and support clinicians in their work.
