About me

My practice
I support parents and young people navigating alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns, youth mental health challenges, and complex life transitions — drawing on both professional training and lived experience.

My work often involves supporting parents via Zoom, helping them make sense of changes in their child or teenager’s behaviour, understand what may be driving substance use or emotional distress, and respond with greater clarity and confidence. I also work directly with young people, supporting them with anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, identity development, school disengagement, and risk-taking behaviours.

I practise through Positive Minds Gippsland (PMG), offering online sessions as well as in-person counselling at the PMG clinic in Moe. My practice has a strong focus on youth mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) support, including harm-minimisation and early-intervention approaches.
