About me

My practice
My name is Mitch Hunter. I moved to Berry in 2019 with the goal of opening my own counselling practice. I have 6 years of tertiary study in the field of mental health, achieving a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at the University of Sydney, and a Master of Counselling at Monash University. I am a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). As a young man, I experienced first-hand the significant impacts of mental health on the individual life experience. Through my mental health journey, I learnt the importance of establishing and maintaining a solid support network, including friends, family, and therapy. My passion for assisting others in their own journeys directed me towards a career in mental health.
