About me

My practice
I am a counsellor with a Master of Counselling, offering a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their concerns. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship difficulties, cultural and migrant-related issues, school-related concerns, eating-related concerns, and broader mental health challenges.

My approach is flexible, client-centred, and culturally responsive. I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, while also integrating person-centred, emotion-focused, brief therapy, and solution-focused approaches where appropriate. I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I work collaboratively with each client to find an approach that suits their needs, goals, and circumstances.

Alongside my counselling practice, I am currently a PhD candidate in psychiatry/mental health research at the UNSW Sydney, where my research focuses on treatment approaches for depression, anxiety, and stress.

I offer telehealth counselling via secure online sessions. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, and have conversational Cantonese. My diverse background and experience in multidisciplinary settings inform my culturally responsive approach to supporting clients from different cultural, personal, and professional contexts.
