My practice
A qualified PACFA registered counsellor with diverse clinical experience.

In addition to a Graduate Diploma of Counselling, I have studied intensively with Gestalt Therapy Australia, working towards an Advanced Certificate of Relational Gestalt Counselling. My training in Gestalt Therapy has made me a flexible and adaptive counsellor, that understands the crucial role of relationship.

I have been a trainer with Mental Health Victoria facilitating workshops in Motivational Interviewing and Mental Health and an academic teacher and VET trainer with the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) for over 5 years. The teaching has honed my capacity to contribute to the continued learning and development of those I work with.

Diverse clinical experience includes delivering brief, evidence-based, client-centred, trauma-informed counselling interventions relating to the health and well-being of:
• Individuals living with Dementia and their Carers with the aim of working through issues with increased awareness and understanding.
• Individuals who are living with or affected by HIV or Hepatitis C and LGBTQI+ and gender-diverse clients with the aim of working through issues to to develop greater self-acceptance and awareness.
• Couples and families experiencing relationship issues, parenting issues, or complex family dynamics with the aim of managing conflict and improving communication.
