About me

My practice
"Healing is a journey we are not meant to walk alone."

Do you feel like you’re navigating life between two worlds?
Perhaps you’ve moved across borders, leaving behind a piece of yourself while trying to build something new. Maybe you are balancing the expectations of your heritage with the reality of your current life, and the weight of "fitting in" has left you feeling exhausted, anxious, or disconnected.

Whether you are navigating a major life transition, carrying the heavy burden of grief, or trying to heal from past trauma, you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

A Space Where You Are Truly Seen
I am Caroline Ouma, and I believe that therapy should be a place where you never have to "filter" your identity. Having lived and worked in both Kenya and Australia, I understand the unique challenges of being an immigrant, an expat, or someone navigating multiple cultural identities.

I offer a space that is not only clinically professional but culturally safe. If Swahili is the language of your heart, we can speak it. If you need a space where your background is respected without explanation, I am here for you.

How We Work Together
With over 13 years of experience, I don’t just offer a listening ear—I offer a path forward. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy, always through a trauma-informed lens.

We will work collaboratively to:
• Build Insight: Understand the "why" behind your feelings.
• Strengthen Resilience: Develop practical tools to handle anxiety and depression.
• Reconnect: Find your sense of wellbeing and direction again.

Take the First Step
Creating a life that feels right for you can be a quiet, transformative process. It would be an honour to hold that space with you and support you every step of the way."
