My practice
Registered counsellor with extensive experience delivering person centred mental health support within aged care settings and through Employee Assistance Programs. I specialise in supporting older adults experiencing grief, loss, adjustment, depression, anxiety, and end of life concerns, as well as employees and managers managing workplace stress, critical incidents, psychosocial risk, and organisational change. My practice is trauma informed, compassionate, and evidence based, providing timely and confidential support across face to face, phone, and video modalities. I work collaboratively with care teams, organisations, and families to promote wellbeing, resilience, and improved quality of life in line with regulatory and service delivery standards.
Governance & Leadership Summary
I bring a strong foundation in governance, operational leadership, and risk aware decision making developed through 20 years in office and business management within a regulated transport and logistics environment. In this role, I was responsible for financial oversight, workforce supervision, process improvement, and service continuity, ensuring compliance with contractual, financial, and organisational requirements.
This experience directly informs my work as a registered counsellor, where I apply the same principles of accountability, ethical practice, and structured service delivery across aged care and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) settings. I am skilled in managing risk, responding to critical incidents, supporting complex stakeholder needs, and working within regulatory and funding frameworks.
My combined background enables me to operate effectively at both operational and clinical levels—supporting individuals and organisations while maintaining governance standards, clear documentation, and outcome focused practice. I bring a calm, considered leadership approach to high pressure environments, supporting wellbeing, resilience, and sustainable service delivery across diverse sectors.
