About me

My practice
I’m a Person-Centred Psychotherapist and Counsellor and at the heart of my work is a belief that each person already carries the capacity for growth and change. My role is not to ‘fix’ you but to offer a space where you can feel safe enough to explore what’s really going on for you.
I aim to create a calm, respectful, and compassionate environment where you can feel genuinely heard and understood. I work relationally, which means I place great importance on building an authentic therapeutic relationship based on empathy, honesty, and trust.

I have experience supporting people who have lived through complex and challenging circumstances, including men recovering from homelessness and trauma. I approach this work with care, sensitivity, and strong ethical boundaries, and I regularly engage in supervision and reflective practice to support my ongoing development as a therapist.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in people leadership and adult learning roles. While my work today is very different, that background has shaped the way I listen and stay present in difficult conversations. I bring a grounded, thoughtful approach to therapy and respect the courage it takes to seek support.

Asking for help can feel like a big step. If you’re feeling unsure, curious, or simply wanting a space where you can be yourself without judgement, you’re very welcome here. You don’t need to know exactly what you want from therapy to begin. We can take things at your pace and work out together what feels most helpful for you.
