About me

My practice
My approach is rooted in the principles of narrative therapy, which offers a supportive and empowering space for neurodivergent folks and others who have felt marginalised. This approach affirms you as the expert in your own life, celebrates the unique skills and hard-won knowledges that have helped you get through the tough times so far, and opens up a curious space for the discovery of new directions you may want to explore. Narrative therapy employs a non-pathologizing framework, deconstructing ableist discourses, normative expectations, assumptions, and labels or diagnoses that may contribute to stigma.

The stories we tell about ourselves don’t just come out of nowhere. Often, the narratives we believe have been shaped – to some degree - by other people. As a non-binary neuroqueer person, I’m committed to creating spaces where others can feel seen, understood, and valued for who they are. My approach to therapy is deeply personal and informed by my own experiences of navigating a world that has often felt overwhelming and confusing.

You have the right to define your experiences in your own words, on your own terms. It’s your life. You are the storyteller, and you get to decide how the story is told. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore your unique story together. My work is about creating connections, fostering growth, and honoring the many ways in which we can be true to ourselves, and move towards our preferred ways of being. A narrative-based approach can support you to reclaim those storytelling rights, to take charge of your own life story, so you can tell it in ways that align with your most cherished hopes, and your most preferred ways of being.
