About me

My practice
Are you struggling personally and/or professional at the moment? Do you find your feelings overwhelming or do you find it difficult to feel anything? Are you constantly in your head trying to work things out, please others and/or find it difficult to express your own needs?

Would you like to discover how you can be the best version of you?

Firstly, I would like to acknowledge you for seeking out someone to walk beside you on your healing journey. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help and to start counselling or psychotherapy, whether this is your first time working with a therapist or if you done this in the past.

It is really important that you find a therapist that you resonate with, helps you to feel safe, empowers and uplifts you (even in the moments when things feel a bit messy and out of control), holds a space of compassion, kindness and empathy and has been on their own healing journey and understands the challenges you may face.

My experience includes working with addiction, mental health, trauma, relationship breakdowns, grief and loss, chronic pain, coping skills, low self-esteem and lack of self care issues.

I use psychodynamic (exploring how earlier childhood experiences influences our present thoughts, feelings and actions), client centred, family systems, trauma-informed and meditative and spiritual approaches where appropriate, to help you gain a great sense of mastery over your life so that you can respond to situations rather than being reactive.

Let’s have a free (up to 15 minute) chat to see if we can work together to enable you to be the best version of you. Call, text or email to book your initial chat.
